@drmpeg Ah, that would definitely explain it.

@davidkierz Very much so. Hopefully I can also run the PSU directly on +12V and avoid this -48V business.

@cemaxecuter @rfnotmagic How is the software support? Like actual real world use, not marketing slides. The software situation being weird and all the low level stuff requiring NXP software that you needed NDA's for (at least then) made me pass on 'em.

@davidkierz Nokia FlexiPacket for 23GHz. So a microwave link radio that eats Ethernet instead of a bunch of E1. Plan is to convert it to 24GHz.

@timorahkonen Yep. Which makes these far better junk to come across than the FlexiHoppers. Easy to understand construction with an Atmega64L controlling it all. My plan is to drop MegaCore on it to make it programmable via Arduino. But that requires a decent bit of reverse engineering.

Whoops. One of the'se days I'll figure out how to change the BootMagic config on my CRTU-RU to have the spectrum analyzer as the default option instead of this win2k based production testing software. Which btw uses a resolution not supported by the internal display.

@DutraCGI @thebaldgeek I have seen "HD-BNC" being used for SDI. I think that comes with a 12GHz spec. And then there's Mini-BNC. If I have to deal with obscure BNC derivates, I'd rather them be the MHV and SHV high voltage connectors. 🥰

@MakeAugusta @_MG_ Nah, here they just text you and try to trick you into paying them 22eur fee on top of the taxes. So it likely has some good potential to be a complete shit show.

@Ascii211 @MicroHex With IOSS now being a thing, it's easier for me to order from aliexpress than before the EU wide "no lower limit for charging VAT"-thing. Before it it was first 44eur and then 22eur max limit (includes shipping) to not deal with customs. Now it's 150eur thanks to IOSS.
