Akane is a psychological thriller genre character being judged by shoujo standards istg, she knew the person aqua was chasing was responsible for murder, its not yandere to want to help aqua deal with him even if it means murder,.

aqua is so out of character in this scene, aka actually has to give him a completely different personality to imply any sort of chemistry between him and kana, if aka doesnt make aqkn endgame, i think this will have been the moment that made him realize its a terrible dynamic.

Back in chapters 133 and 148, kana was apparently an amazing character for her “selfless sacrifice”, now that its clear akane is the most selfless, something kana fans constantly denied, its suddenly bad writing.

@PhantomPiece16 Perfectly written character. Oda really cooked, in thriller bark the way she rejects the docking is probably the first time she rejected the strawhats, if that happened pre enies lobby she probably would have gone along with it because thats how much she wanted to be accepted.
