@1_2spaces Nwaneri doesn't have 1/10th of the on or off the ball intangibles that Odegaard has. It's what makes Odegaard borderline elite and what makes Nwaneri a squad player. Ofc at 17 this is impressive of Nwaneri, but we can't pretend like he doesn't have a long way to go.

@gtalksarsenal @GoonerViews Sterling signing ruined it. Had we gotten someone we could have genuinely relied on, there would not have been an issue as we could’ve actually played them to about injury.

@aliftbll It’s a matter of the extent of the injury and recovery. I’m sure Balde and Demebele had much more severe injuries

@Ligandro22 They got him for €50m rising to a potential €80m with performance related add ons. Not sure but they could potentially avoid paying that if he doesn’t meet them (i.e. they sell him)

@wowzers69696 (1) Im talking about his abilities. Far better talent than Odegaard. Athleticism, passing range and accuracy, shooting/finishing etc. (2) Odegaard was not the most responsible for bringing us out the mud and is in just as bad form as Palmer is currently and for a better team

@villa_vernon @gtalksarsenal @thebottomcorna @RyanTaylorSport Watkins was just an opportunity given our ST situation (Jesus out). Which is why we paid relatively low (near £40m) for him. I’d suspect Sesko will again be our priority given he’d cost £50m-£60m with lower wages and is much younger.
