Blaine was at a Starbucks on Stockdale Hwy Sunday when a man chased a woman inside with a machete. Friends say when everyone ran out of the store, Blaine jumped in between the man and the woman. Blaine was stabbed multiple times. Thankfully, Blaine is recovering in the hospital.
Another racehorse has been euthanized at Santa Anita Park, the 26th since the racing season began in December. The unusual number of horse deaths at the track has sparked controversy from animal advocates, and a re-examination of the sport in California.

The Valley Plaza Mall has announced that it will change its operating hours starting Monday, as a coronavirus precaution. According to the mall's website, the shopping center will operate between noon and 7 p.m. from Monday to Saturday. On Sundays, the mall will close at 6 p.m.
