It means that next Friday, #dTAO will go live! For stakers, this only means anything if you want it to. Don’t want to play the speculative subnet game? Just keep your $TAO staked as normal and nothing changes Want to play subnet games? You can swap some of your Tao for the dtao tokens that pick your fancy (could go up, could go down, but the APY will be really high). However, liquidity will start very slow, so be careful, go in small, and DCA Remember- RT21 is active on all subnets, so whether it’s Tao or any dtao, it can still be staked with RT21 🫡

@AutoppiaAI Yes - although there is a delay from when voting to when reflected on chain as we manually process the next step every few days. The next update will be going through in the next hour or so (a bit of jet lag got me out of sorts a bit, which muddled the usual schedule).

@jorgemva @bittingthembits Nothing needs to change if you don’t want it to 👍 The same zero risk staking Tao remains (although the apy will gradually go down). You can also choose play dTAO games if you want to. If you swap some Tao for dTAO, you can stake that dTAO with us too for more yield!

@TheAssaschan @CryptoZPunisher @Ithiel The exchange rate of all dTAO tokens is denominated in Tao, not fiat. As such, this doesn’t really apply selling pressure, but more tie up supply of TAO, leading to a potential supply shock (which tends to result in favorable price action)
