Coincidentally, a long time ago back in my teens years, I worked for a company that specialized in converting German cars to US specs. This was a big fad back then. You go to Germany, pick out your car at the factory and have it shipped. It was no small task to convert the cars. But people did it. Mostly though I think it was vanity just so you could say "I imported my Porche directly from the factory" 😅

This industry is appaling. The blueprint for this industry is build a nice looking facility, get suckers to pay a big fee, and then fail massively on the actual thing they are supposed to do. Take care of elderly residents! If you complain of call the state on them, they will do everything they can to get the resident and family to leave rather than fix the problem. It's truly full of some evil f'ers.
