They don’t do this in most schools—they just amplify the few that do to make it seem widespread. The teachers pushing this are usually white and use Kendrick’s lyrics because, in their minds, associating with him makes them look smart. They want to be accepted by the culture while looking down on anyone who dislikes Kendrick, dismissing us as if we don’t "understand" it.

This isn’t happening organically—they’re in full damage control mode. Without a relentless media campaign and narrative push, they know fans would form their own opinions instead of being told what to believe. They’re going all out because they need to convince as many people as possible that he won. Without the nonstop promotions and media blitz, the narrative wouldn’t hold.

For all the Kendrick defenders—what impact has this supposed "message" and "symbolism" actually had in shifting or positively affecting the culture? Or was it just a way for Kendrick to make people believe he’s standing for something while still accepting Grammys and performing on the very industry stages he claims to be against?
