What won Lamar the award last year, cost him the award this year. 🤷🏽♂️
Baltimore fans have to let this go. Lamar was not the best statistical offensive player or QB last year and yet he walked away with both the MVP and 1st team All-Pro at QB. Lamar finished 15th in passing yards, 12th in passing TDs, 8th in Comp %, 5th in QB Rating, 4th in QBR. The same ruler that Ravens fans are using this year to say "Lamar had the better stats, he should be MVP!!!" obviously does not apply to last year's MVP voting. Did Lamar have a MVP like season? Yes. Was he the MVP of the league? No.

Stand your ground king, I don’t think he can play in any offense but i think in the right system he could be a good QB
Jalen Milroe is reportedly “completely closed off” to switching positions in the NFL. There are supposedly “several teams” that would be interested in Milroe as a RB according to multiple scouting sources. However, Milroe is fully committed to becoming a starting QB in the NFL and recently said he models his game after a mixture of Joe Burrow and Lamar Jackson. Although some scouts aren’t convinced he isn’t just another Malik Willis. “You don’t ask a zebra to be a dog.” 😳

Yup, don’t let the Browns be cheap
League executives are well aware of the public pressure Joe Burrow has been applying to the #Bengals since the season ended — and it has continued this week at Radio Row in New Orleans. Burrow has made it clear, both privately and publicly, that the team must do whatever it takes to keep its core intact. There’s frustration over key players leaving, and he wants to see Tee Higgins, Ja'Marr Chase, Trey Hendrickson, and Mike Gesicki all taken care of. The next few months will be super interesting.

Love Burrow using his platform to apply pressure here, I know Taylor has been under scrutiny as well and I’m not absolving him but I think the Bengals biggest issue is ownership and how cheap they are.
#Bengals QB Joe Burrow keeps putting public pressure on the team: “We need Trey Hendrickson back. We need to give him what he's worth and what he deserves. ... The cap is going up. We just got new TV deals. We all want to stay together." (@via @FirstTake)

I really hate when people try and compare professional sports to slavery, it’s just a weird thing to me. First, it’s a choice, you don’t need to be professional athlete if you don’t like, 2nd most make generational wealth, they can afford a different tier of freedom.
Dennis Schröder compares the NBA trade deadline to slavery “It’s like modern slavery. It’s modern slavery at the end of the day. Everybody can decide where you’re going, even if you have a contract. Yeah, of course, we make a lot of money and we can feed our families, but at the end of the day if they say, ‘You’re not coming to work tomorrow, you’re going over there,’ they can decide that. They got to change that a little bit.” (Via
