I love the sentiment here and understand your intentions, but actually worshipping Mary, praying to dead “saints” for dead people, purgatory, confession to priests,…none of it is Biblical. Salvation comes by faith through grace in Christ alone.

I went to high school in rural Virginia, where most of the guys had guns mounted above the back window of their pickup trucks. None of those good ole boys ever fired a single shot. It’s not the guns. It’s the crazies.

And Vivek can’t declare “Christ is King” because he worships a false god. Interesting how enters this arena with such confidence though. Yes Christ IS King and I pray Vivek will one day believe that truth himself.
There’s someone smoking out here and it’s seriously shaving my buzz, trying to enjoy my coffee with some waves. It’s 2024!!! Who the h*LL is still smoking?

Thank you for sharing your son’s only birthday story and how you unselfishly walked him home to be with Jesus. Praying right now for your continued healing and comfort as you remember him always .

I struggle to push my mother-in-law in her wheelchair, and she’s half that woman’s size. If there’s an incline, forget it, I’m out. I don’t have the strength. It’s hard work, sometimes impossible work.

This made my day! This little boy reminds me of my grandson and every little boy that age, who tends to see the world through such innocent eyes. He’s as carefree and kind in his heart as his canine companion. Love this!❤️

you need to sit down. Seriously, no one needs to hear one word from you about this tragic assassination attempt. Your opinion means nothing. Pray for yourself. Beg God for mercy on your hateful heart. People like you caused this.

Those middle/high school years are critically important. You are doing the best for her. When it gets hard, remind yourself why you’re doing it. Write a mission statement from the start. Lean on God.

I never cropped my Great Dane’s ears. I prefer the natural look, and we never had any problem with infections. They are the most gentle giants. I miss mine. I have dachshunds now 😂—total opposites.

Looks like an eating disorder to me—ARFID. Gagging like that is not funny for one second. Get her to treatment before the ARFID is full blown and harder to treat.

Sincere and raw, these snapshots of caregiving and complex mother-daughter relationships stirred bittersweet memories for me. 🥀

Same here. Been up since 3 am. My kids are all grown and I’ve got the fifth grandchild on the way. But the job is never over and it seems to get harder. Praying for all moms and dads fighting for their kids. And for our legacy to glorify God and increase his kingdom.

13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”

Read Abigail Shrier’s book and other articles (and interviews) which explicitly details this information. And from there, follow her resources and references. Easy to find.

I can’t believe what I just heard. I also can’t believe that woman wasn’t struck down by a lightning bolt right there on that pulpit. That was super creepy.

I really appreciated her honest take on this. It’s true that the Dems were originally not radical or elitist like they are now. I truly believe RFK Jr will bring much needed balance to the new Uniparty. And I’m in.

Happy 40th. Do something you won’t be able to do in a few years, like touch your toes, be patient with a screaming kid or a smoker on the beach, or maybe eat some nachos right before you go to bed. It’s all downhill from here. 😛

Asheville, NC is indeed a leftist town. It used to be a great destination for hiking and shopping. Now it’s not safe to walk the streets at night. We stopped going there a few years ago when the violence skyrocketed. So encouraged to see all these Trump supporters there!
I’m thrilled to have my CnF essay “What the Horses Know” in this beautiful inaugural print issue of The Gilded Weathervane. This new literary journal celebrates rural life. Order issues on the website.

You should look in a mirror and recite your words out loud before you share them on social media. Maybe that would help you resist the temptation to say stupid things in public spaces. One can hope. Youngkin is doing great things for our Commonwealth.

I went on a mission trip to Haiti several years ago. A pastor of a small congregation there told me their biggest issue is the voodoo that is pervasive in the culture. They perform witchcraft and sacrifices. It’s the poorest country in the world.

Actually not weird at all. He uses the foolish things of this world to confound the wise. Jesus died to give us life. We lose our life to gain it. This is what it means to follow Christ.

Jesus fulfills every OT prophecy, but most Jews deny this because God has not yet removed the veil allowing them to see the truth. This is coming. It’s all in the Word. Only those with spiritual eyes opened can see it. Not everyone is a child of God.
