The erasure of Palestinians in another form: fascistic burning of books and arresting those who educate is deeply troubling. Israel wants to revise history, plain as day. We all have a responsibility to not turn away, shrug, pretend it is not happening. Evil.
Deeply disturbing to learn that undercover Israeli intelligence forces have taken my friends Mahmoud Muna and Ahmad Muna hostage and raided both branches of the Educational Bookshop, a well-respected Palestinian institution in occupied Jerusalem.
