In MM wallet, when connected to an L2 network and sending to an ENS name, the corresponding network address (on that ENS name) will resolve. This means you can have unique addresses resolve for different networks. If an address isn't set, e.g. for polygon, then it will default to the 'ETH Address' (MM UI has a small flag/warning to say its reading from ETH mainnet). Additionally, MM wallet is also resolving ENS subnames that are on L2s like the linea.eth subnames (on Linea Network). As an example, i set some different addresses on my 184.linea.eth that you can test.
