it took me nearly 2 hours to catch him. The fear was in his eyes and if I didn’t catch him he can have a sad end ... When I took him in the car he was confused at first but after a few minutes he find a corner in the car to relax his body ... I was extremely happy 😃

I ADOPTED the poisoned Mother & her puppy. They had no microchip so the municipality was responsible for them.. following the law, I adopted them from the municipality. Both of them are very scared of people after what happen to them so I took them inside my house...

R I P my old boy.. He couldn't breath well, he had problem with his heart & liquid around his heart. We did a puncture & we took away the liquid but he was still suffering, so we decided to put him to sleep. At least he didn’t die alone & abandoned...

Lillika was eating bones to survive, she was following people she saw begging for help, she walked miles & miles, I was trying to find her for 2 weeks, until someone found her 90 miles away from where they saw her the first time. So finally I found her & took her with me.

Freedom for one more dog! This boy is 15 months old & locked in a chain. I talk to the owner & he said he don't want the dog, I explained to him that the law is very strict & he can’t treat animals like that. I took the dog to the shelter.

They came from Germany to take him home! Rocky was with me about a year & I found him abandoned in the streets of my city... after a holiday in Crete & Italy is now home in Germany! Have a good life Rocky!

The little chihuahua is safe in my shelter. She is about 15 months old and about 2 kilo only! It’s crazy that they abandoned her in the road. She is so lucky she didn’t get paralyzed after the car accident...

Leishmaniasis is a treatable disease which many dogs suffer from & unfortunately they are usually abandoned while they go through a very slow & painful death. Chance is one of the many, that Takis has saved from this horrible death.

The girl was scared on the roads of my city, for days friends was trying to catch her. She trusts me in only 2 days & is not scared anymore, I’m sure that some people was pushing her away & they made her scared. people need lessons about how to treat animals.we named her Jessica!

Chiquita got adopted here in Crete, in Heraklion!!! She was so scared of people and none of us could pet her and then when this lovely couple came to the shelter she fell in her arms!! It was so amazing!! Things are starting to change and more Greek people come to adopt.
