@DanielJMath1 Thats not totally true though... the SNP dont want it as a refinery. They offered no business incentives for it to remain as such and want it to transition. The owners didnt want that, rejected the plans and have moved elsewhere.... the only ones at fault here is the SNP

@IndigoFast How blind do you have to be? The Scottish Government gave no assurances or help to keep Grangemouth as a refinery. They cry poverty but the reality is, the SNP no longer wanted it as a refinery, they wanted a transition which was sustainable. Why would the business stay there?

@hewhowashereha1 Its a private business, the reason it is closing is because Scot Gov have offered no viable option for it to remain open. They have offered no business plan for it to remain a refinery..... which the businees wants to do.
