It's being researched and built at the same time, but the real answer is flexibility. There is no one best way to do everything. All of blockchain infra is moving towards more specialized shapes, design exploration is high. But you can absolutely pick out patterns. Many names mean the same thing but not really depending on the context. The full shape will materialize a year from now more or less
