2025: The Year of Agentic DeFi If you're running a protocol or any kind of DeFi service, here's what you need to start thinking about now to make it 'agent-ready'. I strongly believe the majority of on-chain activity will soon come from AI Agents. > Documentation & API Architecture Are your docs optimized for agents? Your documentation needs to serve both human and AI audiences. - Consider using structured data formats like JSON or XML for easier parsing by AI systems. - Implement OpenAPI/Swagger specifications for all endpoints - Structure response data in consistent JSON formats with clear schemas - Provide comprehensive error codes and handling documentation - Include code examples in multiple languages (Python, TS, Rust, LOLCODE heh) - Implement the Dรญataxis framework to cover every possible step in the developerโs journey Are your APIs ready for the increased amount of 'intelligent' bots? Make sure these are robust, well-documented, and designed for high-frequency interactions: - Maybe think of stateless endpoints that support high-frequency trading - Or websocket connections for real-time updates - Create batch processing endpoints to handle multiple operations - Design clear rate-limiting policies that scale with user reputation If open source, do you have a well-documented codebase? Ensure your code comments and README files are comprehensive. Give these systems as much context as possible. > Frontend and Contract Interaction: Does your frontend give enough context for the used contracts? Think about how an agent would interpret the reasoning behind decisions or evaluations. Is your frontend accessible programmatically? This might mean providing new APIs or webhooks for agent interaction. > Smart Contract Design: Are your smart contracts designed with AI interaction in mind? They should be easily interpretable, possibly with clear function names and comments explaining logic. > Governance and Decision-Making: Is there a mechanism for AI agents to engage in governance or decision-making processes? Think about AI voting on proposals or influencing policy through data analysis. > Security Concerns: Have you considered security implications AI Agents can lead to new attack vectors. Implement safeguards like the already mentioned rate limiting or anomaly detection. Adapting to this new paradigm isn't just about being technologically ready; it's also about rethinking user experience, security protocols, and even the ethics of AI in finance: > UX for AI: How will your platform's interface support both human and AI decision-making? Perhaps you need interfaces that allow humans to oversee AI actions or intervene when necessary. > Agent Integration Features These agents will need their own journey. Maybe think of the following to be ready: - Provide real-time transaction monitoring endpoints - Implement webhooks for important protocol events - Create detailed transaction logs with machine-parseable metadata - Build analytics endpoints for historical performance data The future of DeFi will be shaped by how well these services can integrate with and be managed by AI agents. Don't get left behind once the next iteration of agents is unleashed. Questions for You: > How is your project/protocol preparing for this shift? > What challenges do you foresee in adapting to AI agent dominance in DeFi? So, what exactly do you need to do? IMO, you should at least: > Review your documentation for machine readability. > Consider a workshop or session on AI Agents > Engage with the community as much as you can. > Learn the concepts of the different AI agents, as itโs very likely theyโll be the users of your project/protocol very, very soon. And last, but not least: > Create sandbox environments for agent testing. ๐ค Accelerate.

great job explaining what actually matters at this stage of crypto. Too many discussions these days come straight out of the ivory tower.. too mid-curved; not enough discussions center around the crucial elements and focus on the details instead. @Euler__Lagrange, @dawufi and @sreeramkannan did an excellent job highlighting whatโs truly important.
1/ New episode โ Enabling Apps to Make Verifiable, Trustless Commitments with @sreeramkannan from @eigenlayer Hosts: @Euler__Lagrange @dawufi We discuss: - How restaking powers cryptoeconomic security and increased capital efficiency throughout the industry - The apps with real PMF in crypto - Building @OpacityNetwork as an AVS on Eigenlayer Timestamps: 00:00 - Introduction 01:10 - Eigenlayer: Infrastructure for Trust 05:00 - Connecting Trust to Applications 10:10 - User Preferences and the Value of Trust 12:10 - Why Users Should Care About Verifiable Trust 16:05 - Apps with Commitments: A New Paradigm 21:12 - Bitcoin as the Original App with Commitments 25:09 - Uniswap: Finding Free Market Value 28:01 - Lending Markets: Promises of Solvency 31:14 - Prediction Markets: Finding Free Market Odds 34:06 - The Role of AVSs in Commitment-Based Apps 38:08 - Real-World Applications: Earnifi and Beyond 40:59 - The Future of Commitments in Crypto 45:06 - Building on Trust: The Developer's Perspective Watch on all platforms belowโฌ๏ธ

the western non-crypto mind cant comprehend this:
August 15 2021 The US Established government in Afghanistan collapsed and the country went into absolute chaos. People lost their money in banks and one of the biggest victims of this was my father who still has his life savings locked in the bank since then. Around last year he started exploring Crypto and now he holds most of his assets in Stablecoins. Today I received this message from him asking me how he can buy more stablecoins for fiat.

@KhanAbbas201 happy to chat about what it takes for a protocol or chain to be compliant with islamic finance rulings! I know about riba, but want to learn more about it.

Yo frens, stay safe & donโt just 'install deps & run code' without checking it first or using a VM / Docker container. Feel free to DM me if you want to learn how to do it the safu way.
Stay safe out there guys, recieved an offer for an @upwork job early this morning. Pretty standard repository for some sort of referral system, the adversary used whitespacing to hide obstufcated code in the @github file explorer which contains an RCE.

I'm looking for experimental tokenomic labs and teams interested in the intersection of 'restaking X degen X ai' to build fun experiments on @swellchain / @swellnetworkio Think of bringing back 2021 vibes with all sorts of crazy smart contracts - but this time, you have a team of crypto-native frens around you supporting you with everything you need. All the way. Get rid of the pumpfun mindset and start thinking of different tax modes based on certain criteria, reflection, elastic supply rebasing, dividends, ve, ultra deflationary, jackpot, lock-to-earn mechanics, or cross-chain fun. (plus all the other fun experiments back then) Either pure contracts, a classic frontend, or an agentic interface. Let's bring back the fun instead of the current landscape, where the only differentiator is the ticker and clout/cabal. The market expanded - and so did the possibilities. DMs are open.
