To be honest, the current situation is quite comical, yet uncertain ▸ The price is currently ranging between $110,000 and $88,909. Right now, we’re in the middle of the range, so it’s not ideal for looking for any positions ▸ We reacted to the Daily Demand zone (orange) during the big drop earlier this week ▸ In these conditions, I’m only looking for buy positions in the bottom 25% of the range and sell positions in the top 25%, always on ERL sweeps The problem? The only valid ERL right now is at $88,909. So I won’t be looking for any buy positions without a sweep of this level! For now, I can see a potential return to around $94,000 to retest the wick. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if we hit the $88,909 level before attempting a new push to the top of the range 2/ H4 Let’s break down the problem into several points: ▸ Green bubble: Buyers failed to close above the previous ATH, which shows weakness on their part ▸ Blue bubble: The internal structure, which was supposed to drive the bullish flow, turned bearish after the breakdown of $99,500 ▸ Red bubble: Theoretically, we should liquidate the origin of the bullish flow. The probability of this thesis based on the structure is decreasing due to the current range context The only issue here is that the price has already returned to our lower range and is now in the middle, which is a price zone where I don’t short In short, the current flow (internal structure) is still bearish. The structural target is at $88,909, though the probability of reaching this level is decreasing due to the range context 3/ Macroeconomic news As you know, I pay a lot of attention to macroeconomics, especially what's happening in the US, because NO, BTC is not decoupled from the macroeconomy. Anyway, here’s what I’m keeping an eye on: ▸ Non-farm Payrolls on 02/07 at 2:30 PM: We definitely want to see a lower-than-expected number of jobs created, along with an increase in the unemployment rate. This would indicate a slowing labor market ▸ US CPI on 02/12 at 2:30 PM: We want to see inflation slowing down in the United States A winning combo on these two news events would be bullish for an increase in rate cuts in the US.
