What happens in a world where single-slot finality exists?
Stargate transactions take sub 5-seconds, or less. Stargate will be cheapest, AND fastest, AND the only bridge that does per transaction verification.
What then, anon?
single slot finality: right now, it takes 15 minutes to finalize txs. the goal is to cut that down to one "slot," which would just take a few seconds. this means txs will be much faster.
