Today marks the 2 year anniversary of when I began designing LEGO rocket models!🥳
While listening to
@NASASpaceflight
's SN9 launch live stream, I started working on my LEGO Starship model. After hundreds of hours, this is how the design evolved from the first draft to S24 & B7:
In honor of Falcon 9 Booster 1058🫡🚀
Here's my LEGO recreation of what remained of the fleet leader after its unfortunate demise.
Thank you to all the photographers who captured its last return🫶
Here's an interesting look at the engine diagram showing the new and faster Raptor ignition sequence of Super Heavy!
Pretty much how we imagined it to look, however I found the lagging last 5 outer engines quite peculiar.

In the past 30 hours,
#SpaceX
conducted arguably the two most important launches of the year with Starship Flight 5 and Falcon Heavy's launch of NASA's $5.2 billion Europa Clipper mission!🚀
Using my
#LEGO
scale models, we can compare the impressive size difference between them:
Here's my LEGO Starship and Super Heavy at 1:110, Saturn V scale!

Here are my 1:110 scale LEGO recreations of
#SpaceX
's two super heavy-lift launchers: Starship and Falcon Heavy - which one is your favorite?
WOW, I wasn't expecting anywhere close to this many of you wanting to buy instructions for a LEGO Starship OLIT - 233 in total🤯
It leaves me with no choice but to advance its release! Let's aim for a late November release so you can build it over the holidays, sounds good?
Lately, a lot of people have asked me when I will design the Orbital Launch Integration Tower.
I wasn't planning to release it this year since it would be the biggest model I've ever done. But maybe I have to rethink it, based on how interested you would be to buy and build one:
In less than one week, the penultimate Delta IV Heavy is scheduled to launch the
#NROL68
mission from Cape Canaveral on June 21 between 3:00-7:45 a.m. EDT!
The next and final Delta IV Heavy is set to launch in Q1 2024.
Build your own LEGO Delta IV Heavy:
In 2008 SpaceX successfully launched Falcon 1, the first private liquid-fueled orbital rocket. Less than 15 years later they're on the home stretch of launching Starship, the most powerful rocket ever built!
I built them both with LEGO at 1:110 scale to show the size difference:
"Falcon 9 looks cute next to Starship and Falcon 1 looks like a high school project" -
@elonmusk
- Falcon 1 started the commercial small-lift launch market
- Falcon 9 dominates the global launch market
- Starship will revolutionize space travel as the first fully reusable rocket
Here's my
#LEGO
Orbital Launch Mount, with its fully functioning clamp extension system for supporting the booster🔥
I've added the final touches and started on the building instructions, which will be released in 1-2 days - don't forget to follow me to get notified❗️

Yesterday we got the first leaked look at the upcoming LEGO Icons Artemis Space Launch System!
The model is designed at 1:160 scale, compared to the 1:110 scale of the Saturn V set. You can also see how big it would be at the same scale thanks to
@saxushu
's excellent SLS MOC🤩
Here's my updated Lego Starship, based on S24 & B7! It includes the 33 engines, chines and payload door. But the majority of the changes are internal, with reinforced panels strengthening the build and also making room for details like downcomers and domes!

The time has finally come to design my biggest

project yet - the Starship Orbital Launch and Integration Tower, also known as Mechazilla🏗️
Please let me know if you would be interested in weekly progress updates on the design process!
With the Starship 25 upgrade done, it's time to begin my next project!🚀
The choice is between the Starship hop prototypes (Hoppy & SN5-15) or Starship's Orbital Launch Tower. I'll only have time to do one of them this year, so I need your help to decide which one to do first👇
Winding back the clock, I present my next Lego rocket project - the early American Space Race rockets: Juno I, Mercury Redstone, Atlas LV-3B and Titan II GLV.
They're built at the usual 1:110 scale, measure 20-30 cm (8-12 in) tall, and are very affordable. More info coming soon!

Since so many of you were interested in the new LEGO Starship variants, I'm adding a third one that combines the frosted and metallic look (see below)!✨️
Approximate parts prices for each:
- Default: $350
- Frosted: $325
- Metallic: $750 (varies a lot)
- Frosted Metallic: $450
Yesterday I had my last exam for this term, so I'll try and get some new instructions out this weekend before my summer internship starts on Monday!
Is anyone interested in instructions for some LEGO Starship & Super Heavy variants?😉
Metallic silver, default gray, and frosted:
OLM Update: I've added even more details under the launch table and the total piece count is now 2515. I ordered all the pieces at a total cost of ~$250 and I expect the last orders to arrive early next week.
Stay tuned for build updates next week and instructions after that!👀
I just finished building my Lego Delta IV Heavy design in real life! I'll post some more pictures over the next few days, I'm very satisfied with how it turned out, what do you think? Instructions are coming next week to my Rebrickable page:
Thank you all for the overwhelming support for my LEGO OLM♥️
I'll share more pictures and show off all its features in the coming weeks - starting with an aerial view showing the Booster QD and the 20 clamps that are meant to support the full stack!
How did I do,
@CSI_Starbase
?
SpaceX conducted the first 3 launches of Starship, the most powerful rocket in history, in less than 11 months! This is unprecedented for a rocket its size.
And yet, this is likely the slowest cadence it will ever have. Imagine the day it does 3 launches in 11 days... or hours🤯
Presenting my updated
