"Community" is probably the word I hate the most in crypto. None of these coins have a community. If the price dropped to 0 tomorrow, everybody would disappear instantly. But there's a very large market in pretending it exists, and no incentive in pointing out it doesn't.

Biggest indicator that eth is dead right now imo is that you could make pumpdotfun for some eth L2, and it would work just as well as on solana when it comes to speed and fees. But there's just no interest. This is no indicator of the chain being shit, it just means apps > chains

After coinbase randomly closed my account last year, I asked support if I can just make a new account with the same email address. They said sure, it'll work. Forgot about it for a while because coinbase pissed me off. Tried it just now. Result: new acc instantly closed again.

Been going through coingecko pages again, used to do this a lot in 2020-22 and you could find some decent overlooked stuff. But these days it's all just zombie coins, dead but still trading. A gazillion coins, but the ones you can actually buy barely number 50 total.
