People find it hard to differentiate between a slow cook, a rugpull, engagement farming, and a scam. But the difference is clear if you'd ask me! - A slow cook will take it's time to gather momentum, touch the necessary bottoms to shake out paper hands before taking off to the moon. ๐ Hence the popular saying "If you can't hold, you won't be Rich ๐ค" - A rugpull is when the Devs (or community in charge) decide to unlock and take out the liquidity in a project which in turn sends the price to the rug, literally! - Engagement farming is when a project promises huge rewards for participating, and doing tasks but their true intentions isn't what they say! They plan to get their engagements high, cash out on the monthly revenue they earn from the engagements while still promising the community a "Huge airdrop" or "biggest Airdrop" ever... But it will never happen. - Lastly, a scam. This is the most abused words in Crypto X today. A scam can be in any form, social engineering, fake project and presales, impersonated launches, fake NFT, malicious contract deployment and more..... The aim of the deployer(s) is to cause harm to others and feast on other people's hard earned money directly.
