Only 3% of criminal charges in Ontario make it to trial, which means that 97% of criminal charges are either dropped or there is a plea bargain. It's time the Ontario government started enforcing the law and stopped blaming everyone else for its failure to do so.
The Province of Ontario and the federal conservatives have failed to acknowledge that criminal charges once laid often do not proceed to trial in the provinces. In fact, in Ontario, only 3 percent of criminal charges make it to trial. The criminal law is there. It’s time for Ontario to enforce it.

Canada won’t back down to Donald Trump. These tariffs harm the world's most prosperous trading relationship and one of the great historic friendships between nations. When it came to fighting for our country, previous generations of Canadians did not back down. We won’t either.
