has ended with our reservoir levels now around 75%. We'd like to thank our customers who put their hosepipes down over the past few months, we really appreciate your support!
We've got the saddest news to share. 😔
Our Sweetheart unfortunately had to be put to sleep last week after spending 11 years working at Yorkshire Water (and 17+ years roaming the streets of Bradford).
We’ll really miss Sweetheart & all the joy she brought to our colleagues.💙

A customer approached Dannie & asked for his help to try & free the trapped ducklings from the gully. Chuffed to say they've been reunited with their mum.✨

What a quacking rescue! 🦆 A team of
#YorkshireWater
engineers recently rescued 8 ducklings from an unused tank at Old Whittington wastewater treatment works.
The rescued ducklings were taken to a local vet and have now recovered and been rehomed at a wildlife sanctuary. 💙
This week the Environment Agency announced that Yorkshire is officially in a drought, and with parts of the region seeing the lowest rainfall since our records began more than 130 years ago, our reservoirs are low, at below 50% full. 🧵(1/5)
