We had an amazing turnout for our dedications of artworks by Randi Purser, Tyson Simmons & Keith Stevenson, and Oscar Tuazon. Artists and representatives of the Suquamish Tribe and Muckleshoot Indian Tribe spoke to the importance of Indigenous history & culture on the waterfront.

We are excited to share that we opened a short segment of the protected bike lane between Yesler Way and Union St today! The full connection is not expected to open until later this Spring. Visit our website, for email updates to follow project progress.

We continue to make progress on bike improvements along the waterfront. We're on track to fully open bike lanes in early 2025, with the entire 20-acre park following shortly after in spring 2025! Read the SDOT blog for more on bike improvements

@AdventureRoss @typewriteralley The area was closed for one day to stabilize loose rock around the boulders that was getting tracked into the slide. The area reopened Tuesday at 7:00AM.
