Just some advice:
Never ever join a company/agency that has a talent act as a manager. That is the biggest RED FLAG, doesnt matter whether its an official or unofficial manager, don't do it.

After seeing the events happening with AkioAir, I want to remind everyone that getting into a company isn't just sunshine and rainbows. Some companies are shit and you wouldn't know till you get in. Be cautious and take care of yourself.

I find it weird when companies hold auditions like 1 month after debuting their talents. Why not focus on your current talents first? Are they just mass producing vtubers or is the auditions just a markrting strat? I don't get it...

I really hate dealing with drama or any issues so I tend to pass them off to other vtuber audition retweet accts (example the ALV tweet) but the more I read about CyberIdol in my dms, the more crazy and delusional I think the CEO is. Seems like I'll be tweeting this time 😮💨

When I look for Vtuber Auditions, it sometimes infuriates me when I see some no name group setting unreasonable requirements when the group in-charge doesn't even have the necessary numbers.
Don't let this people ride off your back with a group that can't benefit you.

Just want to let everyone know to please pick a Vtuber Group/Company wisely. A lot of the groups right now are extremely sketchy so I hope all of you beware of giving personal information in forms for completely newly created groups with no backing.

Some advice~
If you interview with a company/agency that is not primary located in a native english speaking country, please ask whether the manager speaks fluent english and if possible, ask to talk and get to know your manager before signing the contract!

Just some information about this audition. Apparently the models they have posted already have talents casted so if you are planning to apply for those models, you won't get them. The audition is for different lower quality(?) models instead unlike stated in their form here.

This is purely just my opinion but most companies nowadays look at the current success of a Vtuber more than their potential or actual auditions.
If you are already an established Vtuber, I don't see much point in joining a company unless its a big one or you need the support.

Other than that, also think about it before you sign any contracts! I don't want you guys to be tied down to a company for a year that doesn't do anything for you except for give you a half-baked model and take your profits. It's not worth it.

Of course recognized big companies are safe but be careful of small groups okay guys? Make sure that first of all, your decisions are right for you. Do as much research and ask the group any questions if anything urks you. My DMs are always open if anyone ever need advice

- this make it difficult for the talent to work with the company. It's best to meet the manager as well since some of them have very differing opinions on what you should do as a Vtuber. A good company would make sure the talents are able to work well with no language barriers.

This is just me speaking from personal experience.
I've met at Japanese manager in an interview and and it was so hard to communicate with him 😮💨 He could speak english but definitely not good enough to constantly talk to talents in professional setting -

True true, cliques and a hierarchy are easily formed from this as well which may result in bullying. I've experienced this first-hand and seen cases of it happening in companies. Talents can even get unfairly terminated after facing mental distress there.

It really depends on the company. If it's adopting models then the talent usually keeps the IP but in the unlikely case the company buys the IP from the talent. As for companies that provide the models, they gold the IP for the models and there are generally 3 things that -

I don't paticularly like it. It shows that the company is not willing to invest into something as foundation as a model for their new talents. When they adopt, you keep the IP of your model BUT they pretty much have you on a contract -

So I recommend that everyone really does their research on these companies that are looking to adopt models. It's much more riskier for you than the company since they can pretty much take you in and steal your profits. Ask as much questions as possible during interview -

New gen every 6 months is mass-producing Vtubers no? Sure it's growth and companies like Nijisanji does it too but it is mass producing talents. If a company recruits 4-10 people in 1 gen, within half a year, they already have 8-20 talents. After just a year, its 12-30.
