📍Tokyo. @INakamitsu & 🇯🇵 Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya discussed the importance of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty #NPT + Japan's role in the lead up to the 2026 Review Conference. They also spoke about strengthening the @UN as it celebrates its 80th anniversary in 2025.

📍Tokyo. At a meeting w. Komeito Party leader Tetsuo Saito, @INakamtisu expressed appreciation for the party’s strong commitment to the nuclear disarmament agenda, including the #NPT + #TPNW. They were joined by House of Representatives members & @UNIC_Tokyo's @KaoruNemoto.
