The Maharashtra government has set up a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to examine allegations of a conspiracy to falsely implicate Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, and other Mahayuti leaders during the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) regime. The SIT will be led by Satyanarayan Chaudhary, Joint Commissioner of Police (Law & Order), Mumbai.
