This week, thanks to a
@MakeAWishUK
nomination, I had the privilege of visiting the
@MicrosoftUK
office in London and gaining a unique perspective on the day-to-day operations of the CEO.
I engaged in insightful discussions with multiple executives within Microsoft,
It’s not a Microsoft outage. Stop placing the blame on Microsoft.
It’s a Windows crash caused by a fault in Crowdstrike security software.
Understand the topic and don’t be loose with your language.
If Google Chrome caused all Macs to crash, would Apple be experiencing an outage? No!
This has happened because people who don’t understand the problem are commenting on it & the media prefer to blame a recognisable tech giant than a smaller security company.
I find all this “iPhone 13 Pro not 120Hz” stuff hilarious.
You really think Apple can and will advertise a phone as having a hardware feature, and just plain not include it at all?!
We know there are software bugs with 3rd party apps. 120Hz is still present on the device.
@surface
iPad Pro. A device that offers:
👆 Edge to edge touch display
🖊Pen supported
📶 Always-on connectivity
📦 (who needs to remove the SSD from their tablet 🤔)
Oh, and it doesn’t run Windows, thankfully....
Samsung needs to be catching up to selling 100m units in seven months…
It’s about what is the best for the average consumer. Most people don’t want foldables yet. People want the familiar iPhone they know and like.
This iMessage & RCS stuff is hilarious, and so clearly a US problem.
As an iPhone user in the UK, I prefer iMessage, but if someone doesn’t have an iPhone, I’ll use Telegram or WhatsApp or something.
Literally no big deal. Use whatever platform works for you.
So
@lisapjackson
just updated her Twitter profile picture, and there seems to be some production equipment in the corner.
Many previous events had segments here — Apple Event coming soon?!
OP still hasn’t clearly clarified that this is because he accidentally tapped an Arcade app without a subscription — causing people to hate on Apple for no reason.
Call me a fanboy, but I’m just trying to be honest and reasonable as always 🤦🏻♂️
THIS IS NOT ADVERTISING.
This is Apple Music telling you that an album from an artist you listen to is available.
I listen to a lot of Taylor Swift, hence I’d like to know when a new Taylor Swift album is released!
Apple Music now putting ads on the Library screen, which is entirely too much. There are 200 other discovery screens in this app, leave the library alone
Don’t buy a MacBook Pro now. It makes no sense.
— If you don’t need the extra power of the M1X, wait for the M1 to get cheaper in a few weeks.
— If you need a laptop right now, buy a MacBook Air. Pretty much the same & cheaper.
It’s a very silly financial decision right now.
Tim: Yeah, yeah we’ve got our event next Tuesday. New Macs and all.
Sundar: Uh, ours is too. New Pixels, that everyone knows about.
Tim: *laughs*
Sundar: Seriously. You’re going to have to move your event. We need at least a chance of getting some press coverage. Please.
Why do none of these virtual events use music like Apple does?
That’s what makes Apple events so engaging and fun to watch — energetic, bouncy music, matching with the cuts and animations.
@just_some_dev
Microsoft doesn’t control the actual contents of the driver. Deployment is down to Crowdstrike’s own update mechanisms, and signing has no impact on the quality of the driver itself.
