March 26 Rescued Kitten Update - Officer Rowsey took the kitten to the vet and learned that it is a male kitten who is approximately six weeks old. He weighs 1.25 pounds and has a new name – Dobby! #HappyKitten.
Squad 4B Officers E.L. Masnik and J.N. Rowsey rescued a tiny kitten in distress this week and the lucky kitten found a new home with Officer Rowsey. The kitten, who was alone and frightened, was rescued near the intersection of Linwood and Dawkins.

UPDATE: Mitchell Grayson turned himself in this evening at Durham Police headquarters and has been arrested for aggravated assault, breaking and entering and injury to personal property. Paisley Grayson appeared to be unharmed.
An amber alert has been issued for Paisley Grayson, 4, of Durham. The child is believed to have been abducted by her biological father, Mitchell Grayson, 37. They left in a Gray 2000 Chevrolet Astro Van with NC license plate HFS 7433. If you see them or have any info, call 911.
