Opeth’s seventh album Damnation was released 20 years ago! Mostly recorded in Gothenburg, Sweden during the same sessions as their previous album Deliverance, it was later finished and mixed at my studio back in the UK.

2006 at a show in the US, someone handed me a paper saying "Coldplay are Wankers." Liking Coldplay I held it up to question it but a photo of that moment went viral attributing the sentiment to me. I still to this day get asked in interviews about my legendary hatred of Coldplay.

We’re at L-Acoustics in North London for the first album playbacks for media and other people from the industry. It’s a fully spatial audio immersive experience, a 65 minute 10 track musical journey, everyone plunged into darkness, listening on an 18.1.12 surround sound system.
