Kendrick’s creativity is where the magic is. There’s so much jazz in it. Across the board. Gonna take everyone more than one listen and that’s what it’s supposed to do. But more importantly it’s gonna inspire kids to be creative.
How ironic is it the guy wearing the mask as a character most his life... dies on HALLOWEEN in the year we all had to wear masks.... smh Rest In Peace MF DOOM.
I cringe every time i hear “real rap is back” or anything like it. Shit been here all along, y’all were riding the wrong wave. Lotta outsiders in the game now.
If you live in the United States of America right now and believe our biggest problem is the Mexico border and we need a wall, you should sign into a mental institution. That’s all.
Is it finally time for y’all to admit those million dollar studios are useless for most hip hop at this point? Most these guys are rapping on mp3 2 tracks in rooms made for full bands. Stay home.
If you respect music off the strength of what charts or streams, you are & always have been a cornball. 12 year olds are running that shit up with their family plans. Relax. 🤖
We’re in a very scary place when anyone can say anything true or false, someone with any kind of following can repost or share, and 1000s of people believe it before it’s fact checked. On every side of everything. Politics, music, law. Do better. Put a little more insight into it
DMX got an album called the Grand Champ. He been through it all & fought. Period. No matter what happens next... respect his wins. Dude was THE Champ. Iconic.
Dude just said to me at the bar “they need to play some real hip hop”. Rakim was literally playing. I’m scared of the future of what people think “real hip hop” is. The generations ain’t connecting the way they should. That phrase is played out but so are fairweather fans. 🤷🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️💜
all bias aside, y’all super sleeping on the

album…. crazy. impressed by xxx ALOT on this one.
My kid told me when she got out of school today she was proud that her dad was mentioned on the Grammys last night. That made my life. Fuck my day, week, or year.
You know how hard it is for me to get my album process rolling the way i used to without Sean P, Prodigy, Mac… those were my go-to guys. Literally shedding tears when i process it. So many Friends beyond rap gone too soon.
I dropped Extended Play 6 years ago today. Sean Price & Mac Miller were on the single/video “21 & Over”. Great ones. I can’t call either of them now & it sucks. Life moves fast. We all miss them both, in so many ways. Love yours ... remind your friends when they are great. 💜✌🏻
Why level headed people in this country SHOULD have the right to own a gun, defined ... so happy my bro
@BunBTrillOG
family is safe.

for real... 💜
People that say “don’t get political” to HIP HOP artists don’t understand what hip hop is. Fuck agent orange, & every person on the planet that has a problem with Kap taking that knee against what these cops are getting away with. Unfollow me if you have a problem with that.
I went from pretending i was on the radio at 11 years old, to being on the radio at 14, to commercial radio, to being syndicated 5 days a week, to satellite, and now 30 years later I’m broadcasting to millions a people a week LIVE from my studio in Brooklyn. 🥂 ❤️🙏🏻
Taken me years to fully realize that commenting on the circus isn’t gonna stop the clowns & animals from being clowns & animals. Focus on your own show.
Shock G was part of the era to me as a child that rap stars were more like super heroes. It holds a dear place in my heart. The way it was packaged, introduced , & the way imagination/aliases/characters were valued. We lost that later on in the game. Rest In Peace Legend.
Politically incorrect rap music is pretty much dead now & it’s sad. Thanks sensitive-ass people. Ima make a play list at some point. That offends everyone and anyone. You ain’t rewriting the history of greatness.
Artists... Stop trying to ride every wave..: that shit looks desperate. Find what you’re good at & vibe out. If it ain’t for them, it’s for someone else. Anything that doesn’t come natural is 🗑.
Dude tonight at the bar in London said “shit, is everyone from america gangster” (clearly baiting me to walk into a fight) and i let it rock… i said “that’s a goofy question”. As you get older it feels better walking away from the shit you used to do automatically. Peace >

Horrible news about Nipsey Hussle. Dude was a hustler and did a lot for his community. Watched him turn into a great artist thru the years as well. Honor to say he rapped on a few of my beats as a man. Rest peacefully.
I hope all the parents out there that were stressed about being home during quarantine , home schooling, etc understand this is THE most time you will ever spend with your kids EVER. You gotta appreciate the silver lining. I’m grateful for the extra time. Even with L’s it’s a W.
Had to unfollow most of the publications i used to really respect… y’all killing the culture you help build. Shout to the very few left doing it with honor.
Anyone trying to talk sense to Ye at this point is talking to themselves. Also hip hop needs to stop giving him a platform to spread misinformation & bullshit.
One of the coolest things about making music is always trying to sound better. Not every craft or industry out there allows that. If you stop wanting to learn at any point, hang it up.
