Members of the #SCPD continue to work together to take illegal guns off our streets. Police executed a search warrant at a residence on Tamarak Street in Central Islip on February 5 and recovered two ghost guns. A resident was arrested. Great work to all involved!

SCPD Marine Bureau officers responded to a deer stuck on the ice off Smith Point County Park on 1/23. A fawn had gotten stuck, half submerged in the icy water roughly 60 feet off shore. The officers deployed an ice sled & were able to bring her to safety. Good job to all!
