During the 2nd expedition of 2024, #SalasyGomezRidge team examined 10 seamounts & 2 islands on the 2900-kilometer-long oceanic mountain range & determined that individual seamounts harbor distinct ecosystems like glass sponge gardens and deep coral reefs.
