Fulvio D'Acquisto, Professor of Immunology in the School of Life and Health Sciences, is making significant contributions to children's health research through his collaboration with the NIHR D-CYPHR initiative (DNA, Children + Young People's Health Resource) and PANS PANDAS UK. Zoology students recently visited the UCL Grant Museum of Zoology, home to England's oldest collection of anatomical specimens. 🦴 The visit focused on vertebrate diversity, offering fascinating insights into evolution, physiology, and behaviour in a comparative approach. A valuable and memorable learning experience!

This week, McLaren F1 driver @OscarPiastri visited our Sports and Exercise Science facilities, continuing his work with Roehampton’s Dr Chris Tyler @Tyler_ExPhys since earning his Formula One seat, and teamed up with our staff and Jotham, a second-year Sport and Exercise Science student who volunteered to assist. 🏁🛞 Oscar is coming off an impressive F1 season, having finished 4th in the Drivers' Championship, securing Grand Prix wins in Hungary and Azerbaijan, and helping McLaren finish 1st in the Constructors' Championship. He also made history as one of only four drivers to complete every lap of a Formula 1 season! 🏆🙌 From 2025, these specialised tests and more will be available to you through our Sports and Exercise Consultancy.
