As a Section 28 teen, I never saw myself in books at school. The effect of this haunts me today in the thoughts and feelings I had about myself growing up. Our free books for school program is so close to my heart and will continue to be a core part of our community activity.
📣 Today marks 20 years since Section 28 was repealed in England and Wales. The UK has made progress in LGBTQ+ rights over the past two decades, but the rise in hate crimes against our communities shows there is still work to be done. Find out more:
