What should @derekrucker5's punishment be? 😂 Earlier in the season, he stated that he would walk from Brisbane to Perth if the Kings didn’t make the Championship Series 👀 Watch NBL Overtime on ESPN 📺

@stickers52 I thought I made it pretty clear haha. But I guess not. Similar to Ili getting third a couple years back for the same reasons. Magnay won’t win. Wani and Shea will be well clear. But he’s respected enough for some players to throw that third vote to him

@KanePitman Completely agree my friend. Im just not surprised players and coaches put him for a vote when they got their final list. I wouldn’t have had him in that ballot in the first place

@JohnCasey2880 Completely agree. I wouldn’t have voted for him. But I’m not surprised his peers gave him a few votes. I assume he got a few 1s with Shea and Wani 2 and 3 either way. I’m surprised he made the shortlist initially haha. So if you didn’t vote him, some of the others did lol

@rokkto I completely agree with you haha, idk what you’re trying to say. Take out the last part of my initial tweet then. I’m simply saying I’m not surprised his teammates still gave him a vote

@TomChritie It’s definitely not. No debating that. I wouldn’t have voted for him personally. But I’m just not surprised the rest of the league did. Because he’s so impactful. He won’t win

@charlie68302 @rokkto Now I wouldn’t have voted for him, because he missed so much time. And I think there’s some great defenders out there. But I’m not surprised his peers did, because they know how good he is defensively

@rokkto That was just an added thought. My original point still stands. Much like Ili making the top 3 only playing 12 games or whatever it was. All his opposition players/coaches just think he’s that good of a defender. So is Magnay.
