It has been an exhilarating and exhausting ride and I could not be more grateful for all of the unique experiences I’ve had and all the incredible colleagues I’ve been able to learn from and work alongside. From Baghdad to Bande Aceh, Beijing to the Briefing Room, I never imagined I’d get to witness history quite like this. I owe a lot of people thanks, but none more than Alison and our girls who have supported me in this unforgettable journey. Here’s to many more.

The Executive Orders issued by the President on funding reviews remain in full force and effect and will be rigorously implemented by all agencies and departments. As of last night, VP Harris had not yet made a final decision and wanted to sleep on it one more night, according to a source familiar with the process.      This source tells me the Harris campaign has printed signs with Harris’ name and multiple different possible VP picks beneath it so they are prepared for whatever decision she makes.
