In addition, any teams already affiliated & wishing to join our competition from another league shall only be required to pay the league bond when joining our league. ⚽️

We are pleased to say that we recommence on April 4th. Leagues to start from scratch with teams playing each other once; Remembrance Cup from where we left off; divisional cups to follow as well. No lockdowns or bad weather please. Only got until end of June to complete it all.

We are sorry to share with you the news that David Orrell MBE, a dedicated official of the Wigan Amateur League has passed away.
Dave was not just a friend but also a great referee who was our Referee of the Year on four occasions.
He will be sadly missed but never forgotten.

As per the FA all games in the SLCFL will be POSTPONED this Sunday. Fixtures will be updated on FA Full-Time to this effect. The League will now monitor how the FA instructs us for Sunday 18th and update teams when information is available.
Confirmation that all grassroots football fixtures are postponed this weekend as a mark of respect to Her Majesty.
