Spent more than 8 months on this, and it’s the wildest story I’ve ever worked on. The Tasmanian government covered up literally thousands of cases of child abuse over two decades. The cover up continues to this day. #politas

Funny, I thought the 18 months we spent in various forms of lockdown was for govts to prepare systems of testing, tracing, treatment, etc. But no: suddenly it’s every person for themselves.

So RATs are unavailable in large part, the PCR test system is closed to all but closest family & symptomatic cases, test nos are falling, results are taking days, case nos & hospitalisations are skyrocketing, no financial support is available, and the PM is cooking curry. Got it.

It is very strange to me that while Labor has an experienced, competent and generally trusted shadow cabinet (Wong, Plibersek, Gallagher, Bowen, Butlers, Chalmers, Burke, Husic etc) and they're up against a rabble of a govt, the entire focus of their campaigning is on Albanese.
