The decision to end all protections has meant that I remain under constant house arrest and can't safely go anywhere or do anything. The price of total freedom for many is total incarceration for a significant minority.
Several people have reached out to me with this problematic article in the Guardian. Having read it, I think it needs a thorough rebuttal. So here goes. 🧵

I echo the above. With 2 children it makes simple decisions difficult every day for all of us. Mentally draining for us all. Sick of it, but determined to keep buying time to ve around in one piece for my familys future

It’s exhausting, depressing and infuriating that I’ve had to curtail my face to face social activity or risk death by COVID since 2020 and that the risk for CEV people is dictated by mitigation strategies adopted (or not) by the govt who disregard expert advice.
