Stories turn "Elon Musk is messing with the government" into "Elon Musk could shut off the payment that gets your Grandpa through the month" So you really mean.... Scare naive folks into believing a lie. It would be better if you would cooperate and help reduce the federal deficit, making the government more efficient in the process. Do you think the majority of Americans are really that naive? Do you think you're helping the Democratic Party?

The best cure for racism is life experience. When you live in a bubble, you have views that are inaccurate. Society forces folks to work closely with all races, religions, and cultures that make up the fabric of American society. The stereotypes I had in my head when I enlisted the military at 20 are gone today. As an adult, I realize that there are only two types of Americans, those who have integrity (or are trying to eliminate character defects) and those who don't (and don't care). However, this comes from life experience. He sounds like a brilliant young man with enormous potential, giving him a chance to develop real relationships with diverse members of society, should help build his character; and if it doesn't... Like the VP said, fire him.

After you become the world's richest man, are you really trying to become richer. He has already won the wealth competition... It is more reasonable to believe that he is on to his next challenge. The next challenge for him, IMHO (and the opinion of many others), is to fix the waste and bureaucratic red tape that is responsible for slowing down technological progress. Think of all the things humans could accomplish by eliminating wasteful spending and minimizing the bureaucratic red tape involved with technological & societal development. Think of the life-saving medical breakthroughs that could emerge as a result of the proper allocation of resources. If you look at old interviews of Elon, he is not motivated by money. He may be eccentric, but he is definitely challenging himself and others to try to be the best that they can be. It is inspirational for myself and other engineers/dreamers, like myself, to watch

I think it would be worth your while to identify prior military within these organizations. Folks who know their way around and can help you identify the areas that are wasteful. Most of us had to come up with innovative ways to keep the mission moving forward, navigating the bureaucracy and supply limitations that would inevitably put the mission in jeopardy. I guarantee you most of these folks would be more than willing to help.

@SenSchumer Seriously ??? This means that some of us weren't born and raised to be great people, but we found a wife who loves us so much that it inspired us to become better people.

What you guys are doing at the CCC is good. We need to advance american technology while preserving our environment. When you bring your political bias into your job (regulating development along California's coast and ocean to protect and enhance the area), it does a disservice to your credibility.

@Yougottabeleaf1 @Megatron_ron The draft would be a great way to show more young Americans what the world is really like beyond our boarders and why most are grateful that the USA has the ability to deter war at home.

@JeffBezos I think the opium epidemic would be a great immediate problem that would require innovation, creativity and capital to solve.
