The people cheering Hamas on the streets in the UK, Germany, Canada and elsewhere are telling us that they would commit the same atrocities here if they could, how clearer do they need to be?
Once again, anyone listening to Radio 4 this morning who relied on the BBC for news would have no idea what was going on in Dublin. "Far-right hooligans" spontaneously rioting, apparently. No reason given.

as well. It seems advice from the top is that posters of abducted Jewish children could ‘provoke community tensions.’ That is - it could inflame Hamas supporters who should not be in Britain.
Feminists need to stop talking about microaggressions and start talking about border control. The government granting asylum to convicted sex offenders is a betrayal of women and girls.

Who'd be a firearms officer? In any other country, Mr. I'm-So-Traumatised would not have left this encounter alive. But in the here and now, these police officers were immediately abandoned by the political establishment for the sake of 'community relations'
"It was always the women, and above all the young ones, who were the most bigoted adherents of the Party, the swallowers of slogans, the amateur spies and nosers-out of unorthodoxy."
The Telegraph has discovered that half of the groups organising the march - who are still defying calls from the Metropolitan Police to call it off - have links to Hamas.

the feeling that something big is coming – politically – is like a roaring in my ears getting louder and louder. The gov has lost the plot. Labour will be worse. We have pre-revolutionary material conditions, in particular the fact that incoming young elite are downwardly mobile.

so because a sex offender might face mob justice in his native Afghanistan, the women and girls of Britain have to be "compassionate" and allow him to live among them?
It's very easy to be generous with other people's money.
It's very easy to be brave when it's other people's
A convicted sex offender was awarded refugee status after a judge ruled he would be at risk of 'violence' in Afghanistan.
Revd Rose Hudson-Wilkin says it's "not good enough" that the govt wants to send sex offenders to a 'third party country'
The Muslims tearing down the posters are doing so for ethnonarcissistic reasons, obviously.
Wokeness actually consists of two quite different things: white elite psychological pathology, and non-white ethnonarcissism. Sometimes they overlap.
This isn't some shrewd, super powerful force we're dealing with. Terrorists like this Hamas fugitive are parasites on the British state, and they know it. They depend on our inexplicable goodwill.
"Younger and well-educated Muslims were the most likely to think Hamas did not commit atrocities on Oct 7, with the proportions rising to 47 per cent among 18 to 24-year-olds and 40 per cent among the university-educated."
Disturbing, but not surprising - the dominant ideology
I don't want today's march banned.
The problem isn't the march *happening* on Remembrance weekend, it's the fact that so many people *want to go on it.*
There's an ethnoreligious conflict brewing within the UK and voters need to see that, not have it hidden away.
Ending this situation is entirely within the state's power. Islamism has been allowed to flourish in the UK only because we offer social housing, welfare payments, and the endless benefit of the doubt to people who explicitly hate the country that is so generous to them.
The fact that this convicted sex offender was wandering around in the UK and attacking little children was a policy decision. None of this is inevitable. We could be governed differently.
"If you squint and look sideways, you might be able to see a more conventional political game at play within the transgender phenomenon – the state trying to gain more control over the human body, Big Pharma trying to make a buck. But I think it’s actually simpler than that:
I honestly don't think these white hipster teens/20-somethings in NYC know or care much about the war. They're mid wits who've decided that Israel codes as oppressor and have slotted that into the moral code that governs their local status games.

Turns out British democratic norms don't just passively sustain themselves. Just like wealth and peace. Poverty, violence, corruption, and mob rule are the default, everything else requires effort and vigilance.
🚨 I'm no fan of Angela Rayner but I find this intimidation and harassment of MPs by Palestinian mobs utterly shameful. MPs deserve safety just like the rest of us. This behaviour undermines our entire democracy.
Sadiq Khan's London is utterly broken

Young women are more groupish and anxious about status than any other age/sex group. So they're the most enthusiastic about fashion, the first to manifest socially contagious mental illnesses (like ROGD and dancing plagues), and the most passionate enforcers of social norms.
Galloway understands contemporary British politics far better than any of the Sensibles. He's preparing for the Britain of 2054, they still think it's 1994. I hate him, but it's true.
I argued for the

A particularly awful element of what happened to this girl is that she wasn't attacked by a single gang. Rather, she was wandering around drunk and set upon by several different groups of opportunists over the course of 2.5 hours - there were just a *lot* of rapists in the park
I'd love to see some research on this phenomenon. My anecdotal impression is that it's an affluent Anglo thing. The final endpoint of 800 years of individualism is a generation that prefers cruises to grandchildren?
My wife: So your boomer parents will drive to Texas to watch an eclipse for 2 minutes and 30 seconds… but not visit for their first and only grandson’s birthday? And the only kid’s books we get in the mail are from Dolly Parton?
Something I learnt today:
American Catholics in general have a total fertility rate of 2.3.
But American Catholics who attend Latin Mass have a TFR of 3.6! More than TWICE the national average!
It isn't centrist or moderate to break every record on net migration, year after year, and then refuse to monitor the results of your policy decision. It's extremism, driven by ideology.
Following DWP's decision to stop publishing data on welfare claims by nationality, HMRC told me today they have stopped publishing data on tax contributions by nationality.
> The data we need to have a more sensible conversation about migration is being deleted, not improved.

Gerontocratic tyranny - the same young people who had their lives suspended to "protect the NHS", who face impossibly high house prices, plus the highest tax burden since WW2 to pay for pensions. Now told to perform further service to the grey vote.
I stand by this piece.
"Immigration maximalists don’t seem to release this. The possibility of ethnic conflict as a consequence of mass immigration seems fanciful to them, even after decades of Islamist terrorism."
Very jarring to see videos on twitter and then switch on Radio 4 to hear the news lead solely with the "right wing" violence yesterday (what happened to "far right"?) Only after a few mins did we hear about police getting fireworks in the face from the pro-Palestinian protestors.
The Annecy attack has already slipped down the BBC news website, below '30C weather this weekend' and 'cool new research on nutrition.' It hasn't even been 24 hours. One of the victims was British.

If you feel comfortable publicly sharing your 2023 reading list then you're not reading sufficiently based/insane/low status books, try harder in 2024!
People in modern welfare states saying "I can't afford to have kids" have got it exactly backwards - the welfare state won't be there when you're old and any investments you've secured will be worth nothing. Just for purely self-interested economic reasons, you need to have kids.
If your country's population pyramid is like this then it doesn't matter if you can't afford or are sharing a studio... you need to have kids now. You can't afford not to
House, pension, stocks, bonds: going to zero. having kids is the only way you'll feed yourself at 70

Unpopular opinion, but Demeny voting (that is, giving parents a proxy vote for each of their children) would be a good way of challenging gerontocracy by giving more political power to the parents of young children - a demographic that the state both depends on and mistreats

Policy proposal:
Triple the prison population.
Restore the liberty of innocent citizens who are being robbed of their freedoms by criminals. We shouldn't be restricted in where we can live, where we can travel, or what time of day we can be outside. Crime does this to us.
There were so many opportunities for the state to stop this from happening. But chances are no one will lose their job, or have to answer to a panel of Parliamentarians. Crime will continue to be treated like a natural disaster, not a policy choice.

Parliament being bullied into submission by Islamist and Islamist adjacent thugs. Yeah, no problem here, nothing to see. We are a totally normal country and in no way governed by spineless cretins
This sinister bit of the Labour manifesto went mostly unremarked during the campaign:

I suppose they're either too stupid or too dogmatic to realise that they are entirely dependent on the kindness of the great satan, not least for social housing and welfare payments
Agree with this. Unilateral trad life is really hard, i.e. going back to trad practices (loads of kids, single income, no screens, even full on homesteading) without extended family support. You're pursuing a lifestyle designed for community but you don't have the community.

So telling that the replies to this are full of people bemoaning lack of Tory funding for the NHS. The basic care of mothers and children cannot and should not be the state's job, it's the job of families, friends, and communities. Lying-in was never a role of the state! Step up!

It is now officially "far-right" to believe that men should not chemically induce galactorrhoea from their synthetic oestrogen moobs and feed the discharge they produce to babies.
this week I published an essay on female aggression that made some women angry because I wasn't resoundingly pro-women, plus an essay on Andrea Dworkin that made some men angry because I wasn't resoundingly pro-men.
I'm a sex wars centrist – everyone is bad!
One of the things I find sinister about statue iconoclasm is that destroying humanoid figures seems to be such an obvious emotional proxy for public executions
Charlottesville’s Robert E. Lee statue has met its end, in a 2,250-degree furnace.
The divisive Confederate monument, the focus of the deadly “Unite the Right” rally in 2017, was secretly melted down and will become a new piece of public art.
More on the process:
22 years on from 9/11, Westerners seem to have become used to Islamism on home soil. Britain tolerated the mass murder and rape of children in Rotherham and Manchester, "don't look back in anger" and so on. So maybe nothing will change and mass migration will continue. Let' see.
Mass migration is wildly unpopular with the British public, always has been. It's enabled by a small number of centrist people in politics and media – hundreds, max thousands – who define the Overton window. And they're all addicted to twitter. Policy change is in their hands.
It becomes very clear, when talking about birth rates, that several generations of state Ponzi scheme have lulled a lot of people into believing in a magic money tree. "But the state will look after me!" – no, by 'the state' you mean actual flesh and blood people

My TL suggests, though, that liberal/centrist Tories – the people who are actually sustaining current migration policy – are very shaken by seeing ethnic conflict in HD and are coming to the realisation that multiculturalism may have been the biggest policy error in living memory
New piece by
@GoodwinMJ
on the relationship between mass migration and the housing crisis:
"In London, almost half (48 per cent) of all social housing is now occupied by households that are headed by somebody who was not born in Britain."
We've become so enfeebled by the expectation that the state will do everything for us, the idea of doing things for each other becomes unthinkable. Even things as fundamental as cooking meals or changing sheets or running errands for mothers in our lives who've just given birth.
By which I mean *basic* feminist ideas like "women should be allowed to go to university" - one of the reasons I care about the birth rates problem is that cultures that believe this are rapidly dying out
"I look around at the birthrates in cultures that are more feminist and less feminist and I see that the more feminist cultures are dying...I want cultures that value women's intellect to flourish"
