I hereby institute the Society for Antipathy towards Blackguards and Blatherskites, or Antibla for short. Membership is open to the general public. There is only one rule: if someone tells a member that he is wrong due to the interlocuter belonging to some group that has named itself "the good guys", or some cipher thereof, the Antibla member is to point out that he himself is a member of Antibla, and therefore the interlocuter is by implication a blackguard. I will cook up a sexy logo in due course.
What are some good underused insults? Poltroon springs to mind. Dastard. Blatherskite. Needs to be one word, although compound words are fine. I'm looking for a particular feel. Ideally goofy rather than excessively vulgar, but a serious detraction nonetheless.

@BardofLagrandil That's an insult in the rest of the Anglosphere, but Americans like an Irishman. Not historically, but it has been so for my entire life.

Blackguard seems to be a favorite, and it has the... advantage? of being willfully misinterpreted in like manner to "niggardly." Besides which, it makes the name work better, so I think we have a winner.
@LogoSimian Blackguard is a favorite.

This one is beautiful. It cracks like a whip. Alas, I think I must settle on something else.

Oh my. I love this one. I'm almost certain I'm not going to use it, and I'm already sorry.
