As someone who didn't play college lacrosse, I want to chime in from vacation to remind everyone that HS lacrosse is awesome & end in itself rather than just a vehicle to get to play college lacrosse. Don't let recruiting distract you from winning a state championship.
Breaking: As part of a unanimous decision issued today, the Supreme Court has ruled that "the women’s and men’s lacrosse championships on Memorial Day weekend" are "important traditions that have become part of the fabric of America"
If that hit happened in college football, it would be an ejection. Lacrosse should be ahead of rather than behind football when it comes to penalizing contact to the head.
Largest crowds from the weekend:
5212 Harvard @ Rutgers
3200 Virginia @ Brown
2672 Vermont @ Maryland
2149 OSU @ Cornell
2061 Richmond @ Penn
2000 Denver @ BC
1873 Delaware @ Georgetown
1400 St Joseph's @ Yale
1111 Duke @ Maryland
1050 Virginia @ UNC
1037 Boston U @ Princeton

@NBAMemes
Not just any lacrosse player. He won the 2019 lacrosse version of the Heisman and is the all time NCAA D1 career assists record holder
As a thought experiment, to illustrate how value of possession impacts risk taking, let's talk about the greatest pass ever thrown. Despite more highly skilled players than ever, we don't see passes like this really ever.
Above the end line camera angles from behind the clear allow a TV viewer to see players open down the field as a play develops. Huge potential to improve the casual lacrosse fan's viewing experience if we can incorporate this camera angle in transition throughout a broadcast
