I know another Swede that used to make everything look simple....
Simon Edvinsson probably gets less credit than he deserves due to how simple he makes everything look. 1 goal, 2 assists, +5, on this this current Red Wings winning streak. #LGRW

Let's not pretend like systems and coaching doesn't matter. Jared has been a product of great systems and coaching, but that's the case for the majority of good players and teams. These guys are all talented, coaching can take them to different levels for better or worse.
Jared Goff, last year, on perceptions he was a product of Ben Johnson's system: 'Yeah, I was called that when I was in L.A., too, so I guess I've just got great systems around me at all times. I’m just the luckiest guy in the world, I guess." via @freep

St. Brown out route is wide open here and he slips. Glasgow gets beat so quickly I'm not even sure the outcome is different. Pain.
I can’t get over this play. 3rd and 1 in the redzone, easily 4 down territory with Gibbs averaging nearly 8 yards a carry. You have a quarterback who’s best out of play action, so WHAT makes you decide to call an empty set pass play in this situation??

Bless your heart, Zach.
Been hearing some @Lions slander for awhile now: "Finally good" "Easy to root for" "Former doormat of the NFL for years now the team to beat" Let's all remember they put together a few solid years not too long ago: 2014 - 11-5 record. Lost wild card to Cowboys (pass interference flag picked up). Finished 2nd in total defense. 2015 - 7-9 record. Likely missed playoffs due to Rodgers hail Mary completion at Ford field (not to mention the phantom face mask call before that completion). 2016 - 9-7 record. Lost wild card at Seattle. Had 6? final moments wins. 2017 - 9-7 record. Missed playoffs. Of course, not nearly as dominant as they are now, but not an awful history!

The Dodgers have a lot of money and will always be in a strong position to bid for players. But they also have an excellent culture that players love -- it's a group that has a lot of fun together, and a lot of success -- and they have the Jackie Robinson history and resulting tradition no other franchise can match.
