Now, in a time of great consequence and uncertainty in our country, what happens in our hometowns truly matters. Moving forward, I'll continue to focus on public service and how, together, we can create a North Carolina & a country where there’s room at the table for everyone.

This campaign has been a family endeavor from day 1. It meant so much to vote together today and talk with the kids about how important it is to exercise this right which so many fought so hard for. If you haven’t already, vote tomorrow or on Election day this Tuesday!

Today’s ruling from the NC Supreme Court in the Leandro case is a major step forward in ensuring that every child in NC - no matter what their zip code is - has access to the education and opportunities they deserve.
