Today, I graduated with my master’s degree in International relations far away from my homeland. It has been both a challenging and deeply rewarding journey a testament to resilience, perseverance, and an unyielding commitment to justice. Forced to live far away from Afghanistan after its collapse, I faced the painful reality of displacement, uncertainty, and the struggle to rebuild and start everything from zero and scratch in a foreign land. Yet, through it all, my determination never wavered. This degree is more than an academic achievement; it is a symbol of my unwavering dedication to fighting for women’s rights and standing up for those whose voices have been silenced. The plight of Afghan women, deprived of their fundamental freedoms, fuels my resolve to be an advocate for justice, equality, and change. Every challenge I overcame, every moment of doubt I pushed through, was made possible by the support and encouragement of my father. His belief in me, even from afar, gave me the strength to persist, to dream, and to achieve.That is why I dedicate this master’s degree to him @AmrullahSaleh2 not just as a tribute to his love and support, but as a promise that I will use my education to make a difference. The Taliban banned the book The Suicide Shop, calling it a threat to national interests. Ironically, they’ve turned Afghanistan into a countrywide suicide shop, where citizens are deprived of life and endlessly fed sermons on how to prepare for the afterlife.
The Taliban declared that the book ‘The Suicide Shop’ is against national interests and must be removed from libraries and bookstores. Under the Taliban’s rule, Afghanistan has been transformed into a countrywide suicide shop where most of our fellow citizens are deprived of life and constantly bombarded with sermons and propaganda about the means, tools, and best ways to prepare for the afterlife.
