A very successful first week of opening school up more for Year 10 and 12. Felt like another step towards some normality again. Thanks to all the students and staff for such a positive week.

An enormous effort this week has seen us complete over 3000 lateral flow tests. At the same time, I t’s also been great to get the students and staff back in the classrooms. Thanks to all the staff, our students and the volunteers for their help this week.
Ilkley Grammar School are deeply saddened by the news that Her Majesty, The Queen has passed away today. We send our thoughts and condolences to her family at this sad time.

We had an unannounced inspection visit from the Environmental Health Inspector this week and catering has achieved the top rating of five stars. Well done Helen and all of the team!
Despite our best efforts, IGS remains closed today, Thu 1st March due to unsafe road conditions, buses not running and an unsafe site. Apologies for the continued disruption.
