What is halal? What is halal-certified?
‘Halal’ means lawful or permissible in Arabic. Any food/drink allowed for Muslims is considered halal.
‘Halal-certified’ means a certifying body has verified that an eatery/product meets Halal standards through thorough checks and audits.

D'yu know the "blood" that you see in rare steaks aren't really, well, blood?
They're a form of protein called "Myoglobin". Myoglobin functions similarly to our hemoglobin, helping muscle tissue store oxygen.
We've shared a few weeks ago that blood isn't halal.

Frogs are non-halal. This is in relation to a narration that a physician had consulted the prophet about putting frogs in medicine, but Rasulullah (ﷺ) forbade him from killing frogs.
