Q. What is the difference between Halal and Halal-certified?
A. Halal is an Arabic word which means lawful or permissible. Any food or drink which falls under this category is permitted for Muslim consumption.
Rasulullah ﷺ said:
“I guarantee a house in Jannah for one who gives up arguing even if he is in the right;
and I guarantee a house in the middle of Jannah for one who abandons lying even if he is joking;
What is halal? What is halal-certified?
‘Halal’ means lawful or permissible in Arabic. Any food/drink allowed for Muslims is considered halal.
‘Halal-certified’ means a certifying body has verified that an eatery/product meets Halal standards through thorough checks and audits.
In conjunction with the month of Rabiul Awal, we’d like to share a hadith every day for the whole month.

They're a form of protein called "Myoglobin". Myoglobin functions similarly to our hemoglobin, helping muscle tissue store oxygen.

Ever wondered if it’s okay for you to attend company events held in non-halal restaurants?
Look no further guys, and let us Halal cats tell you how you can roll.
However! Based on our understanding, this is a vegetarian cheese product. Hence you can review the ingredients to determine if there are any non-halal ingredients!

No Halal certificate ≠ Haram
You can share your bubble tea, you can share your epok-epok... But can you share the same fridge or microwave?
Here's some info based on the Contemporary Irsyad Series:
DID YOU KNOW that "chocolate liquor" doesn't contain alcohol? Contrary to its name, chocolate liquor is produced from ground cocoa beans and refers to pure chocolate in liquid form.
On the other hand, "chocolate liqueur" is an alcoholic beverage infused with chocolate flavor.
This viral message is older than the viral Pen Pineapple Apple Pen video.

Heya friends. It seems the news about A&W caught many by surprise.
To clarify - A&W is not Halal-certified, and we are not processing any application at the moment.
Rasulullah (ﷺ) said, "Do good deeds properly, sincerely and moderately and know that your deeds will not make you enter Paradise, and that the most beloved deed to Allah is the most regular and constant even if it were little."
(Sahih Bukhari)
Alamak bro this one you ask

what if a non-moslem uses chopstick which he uses to eat pork in hawker center to eat something he bought from a halal stall at the same time? if the utensil is not cleaned from najis properly, will the next customer using that utensil be considered to eat non halal?
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If any Muslim plants any plant and a human being or an animal eats of it, he will be rewarded as if he had given that much in charity."
Sahih Al-Bukhari
Soon after, the cat found another Halal-certified restaurant and decided to dine there instead. The cat is no longer hungry and lives happily ever after. The end.
Another fun fact:
Frogs are non-halal. This is in relation to a narration that a physician had consulted the prophet about putting frogs in medicine, but Rasulullah (ﷺ) forbade him from killing frogs.
(So if you cannot kill means you cannot eat lah, tui bu tui?)
Jokes aside, the product is not locally produced; ergo, it is not a Muis halal cert holder, ergo we do not have sufficient info to comment on its halal status.
Guys, remember! Halal-certified eateries are required to display their Halal certificates prominently. If they tell you they have it but are unable to show it to you....
As the sun descended towards the horizon, the blessed month has left us and Syawal is now upon us. May Allah accept all our deeds from this past Ramadan and grant us the blessings to meet the next ✨
