Experience 11/11/22. Can't wait for another encounter with the world's greatest conversationalist! My new 8-episode TV series,"Ancient Apocalypse", in which Joe makes several appearances, launches globally on Netflix the same day: .
Last week in Cairo, Dr Zahi Hawass graciously accepted my apology for my unkind words to him at a public event in 2015. We still disagree about many things, but our disagreements in future will be friendly, respectful and constructive. The attached after-dinner photo says it all.
My Netflix docuseries Ancient Apocalypse is today IMDB's No 1 of top 50 documentaries in the world: . Prediction: the result will be more wailing, gnashing of teeth, low blows and unfounded personal insults flung at me by the archaeological fraternity.
Huge thanks to all who have watched my Netflix docuseries Ancient Apocalypse exploring the possibility of a lost advanced civilization of the Ice Age. Now No 2 in the US and UK and top ten in many other countries. Onwards and upwards... with your help:

The Society for American Archaeology issues an open letter calling for censorship of my Netflix docuseries Ancient Apocalypse, but when asked to substantiate the claims made in the letter has "no further comment".

I finally listened to JRE

@randallwcarlson
- for any archaeologist to sit down and chat with Graham on JRE
I look forward to their response

Some places on this beautiful Earth of ours, this magical garden of a planet, are very precious. Easter Island is one of them -- rare, mysterious and medicine for the soul. After 20 years away it's a privilege to be back. Photo by Santha Faiia.
UPDATE! Author Graham Hancock vs Archaeologist Flint Dibble.
@joerogan
has now confirmed that he will host this much anticipated debate on the JRE on 24 October. I've accepted. I look forward to meeting
@flintdibble
in Austin face to face. Background:
Ep 1 of my Netflix series Ancient Apocalypse showcases Indonesia's Gunung Padang, possibly the world's oldest pyramidal structure, & honors the work of indigenous geologist Danny Hilman Natawidjaja. The archaeo-mafia were furious. But now... vindication:

During the making of my Netflix docuseries Ancient Apocalypse () I and my crew from ITN Productions were banned from filming at Serpent Mound in Ohio. Many are amazed that such censorship could have occurred in the United States, so here's the evidence:

In an open letter the Society for American Archaeology demanded that Netflix reclassify my docuseries Ancient Apocalypse as "science fiction", and accused me of promoting "dangerous racist thinking." Here's my point-by-point rebuttal:

After the deluge of misinformation from "woke" British journalists over the past couple of weeks re my Ancient Apocalypse docuseries a friend kindly drew my attention to this more positive review from a US source that I had missed when it came out:
Not only NOT detrimental to health but in many cases, as much other research shows, positively beneficial to health... It's good to see the old lies and propaganda, born during the evil and wicked "war on drugs", being systematically debunked...
CAIRO, March 2 (Reuters) - Egyptian antiquities officials announced on Thursday the discovery of a hidden nine metre-long corridor behind the main entrance of the Great Pyramid of Giza that they said could lead to further findings...
Happy to hear this news from Nevada. The "war on drugs" is a war on consciousness and is founded on lies. State by state. in the teeth of federal opposition, the people of the US are showing the rest of us the way out of this mess.
Debate with archaeologist Flint Dibble out now on the Joe Rogan Experience:

10 million square miles of land that were above water 21,000 years ago are underwater today. Think about it. Until those submerged continental shelves are investigated all around the world we cannot possibly know the whole truth about our prehistory:

The "war on drugs" is a war on consciousness and a war on people. Time to end it. Everywhere.
Happy 73rd birthday my beloved Santha. Thank you for sharing your life with me. It's an honor and a privilege to travel and work with you. Looking forward to many more years of adventures together.
Stuff just keeps on getting older...
With millions of years of cognitive evolution behind us, including some significant "leaps" -- as in this case -- why did the "cognitive leap" to civilization take so long? Or did it?
Pleased to announce my return to the wonderful

So great to be back at Gobekli Tepe again! Hugely important developments in prehistoric archeology are taking place elsewhere in this region but I await the official announcement from the brilliant team of Turkish archaeologists who've made the new discoveries before I say more.
Hi
@FlintDibble
, I missed where you cited the source for your confident statement that “there are no emissions from metallurgy in the Ice Age”. A peer-reviewed paper or papers I presume? Kindly share…
India: Kailashnath Temple, Ellora Caves complex. From a glance at the photo by my wife Santha Faiia it's hard to realise the scale, but find the people in the shot and you'll begin to get the idea. The temple isn't "built". It's carved, inside and out, from solid basalt bedrock.
Back on the magical Giza Plateau after 4 years away. Ahh -- it's SO good to be here even though super hot. I'm in the first stages of making a 10-part television series on mysterious ancient Egypt for Gaia in the US -- due to broadcast early 2020. Photo by Santha Faiia.
My upcoming documentary series, Ancient Apocalypse, launches on Netflix on Friday 11/11/22. Take a look at this brief (45 secs) official trailer now out on the Netflix Youtube channel:
In view of the hysterical reactions by archaeologists and their sock-puppets in the media to my Netflix docuseries Ancient Apocalypse, I'll share here share what happened the last time I debated a leading member of the fraternity...
After our debate on JRE 2136 I emailed
@FlintDibble
to tell him: "You speak well for your cause. I was impressed". It's disappointing, now new information has come to light, to discover that
@joerogan
and I were conned. Evidence here:

Stuff just keeps on getting older. More research continually reveals older origins for human and even pre-human achievements, thus opening up more space in our ancestral timeline for a prehistoric civilization to have developed... and been lost.
If a civilization existed during the Ice Age and was destroyed in a global cataclysm, then what kind of civilization was it? And is it "racist" even to contemplate such a possibility? I respond to my critics in this 45-minute clip (from 2 mins 40 secs ff).
Parroted uncritically in the media, a handful of archaeologists have reacted to my Netflix docuseries Ancient Apocalypse as though it is a threat to the stability of the universe itself. Dave Fox Sproull offers this wry satire on all the fuss:
My Netflix docuseries Ancient Apocalypse was labelled as "dangerous". Archaeologists were furious that it was "even allowed". What's really at stake here? Join me 22 April at my last event in the UK this year for a deep dive into the heart of the mystery.
With Santha Hancock, inside Egypt's mysterious "Bent Pyramid" My catch-phrase is part self-mockery (I turned 70 a week ago) and part to recognise that new discoveries keep pushing back the timeline of the human career leaving plenty of room for a lost civilization of prehistory.
Santha and I are just back from an extensive research trip across the Brazilian Amazon. In the next few days I'll share more images and thoughts from what we learned there...
I'm not an anti-vaxxer, and have been vaccinated myself. But I AM pro-freedom-of speech. That's why I'm baffled that so-called "enlightened" people want the

Malta's mysterious Hypogeum -- an underground sanctuary carved out of solid bedrock by unknown hands. Mainstream archaeology dates it between 5,000 and 6,000 years old. I suggest that its origins go back much further than that. Perhaps even as far as the last Ice Age.
My Netflix docuseries Ancient Apocalypse was labelled as "dangerous". Archaeologists were furious that it was "even allowed". What's really at stake here? Join me 22 April at my last event in the UK this year for a deep dive into the heart of the mystery.
I'm not suggesting that Ancient Egyptians influenced the Olmecs or vice versa. But could both cultures have inherited a shared legacy of ideas and iconography from a much earlier civilization now lost to history?

New science adds further confirmation that our planet suffered an extinction-level global cataclysm 12,800 years ago. "Our evidence," says Professor Thackeray, "is entirely consistent with the Younger Dryas Impact Hypothesis".

Further evidence for the cosmic impact that caused a global cataclysm near the end of the last Ice Age and perhaps wiped an entire advanced civilization from the record....
With my beloved Santha inside the exhaustingly long and steep entrance corridor to the "Bent Pyramid" (attributed to Pharaoh Sneferu) at Dashur, about 30 kilometres south of the Great Pyramid of Giza. My first time inside this amazing pyramid. Deeply mysterious structure.

Happy December Solstice! But to be clear, we're not in Egypt now. My wife Santha took these photos a few years ago on one of the many visits we've been privileged to make to that enchanted land.

Sacsayhuaman, Peru. I've explored this astonishing megalithic site often in the past 30 years. The immense blocks, their strange indentations and the precision with which they are fitted together, still leave me awe-struck today.

A joy to be back in Iquitos again, in the Peruvian Amazon. This place is filled with vibrant life by comparison with which Western technocultures are dead wastelands.

How long will the old-boy's club of archaeologists go on pretending that the scientific misinformation presented by

to an audience of millions on
@joerogan
episode 2136 was somehow OK?
Flint Dibble made some EGREGIOUS errors on Maritime Archaeology while "debating"
@Graham__Hancock

@joerogan
I am utterly shocked at what he claimed when I looked at the real evidence.
I explain SOME of these errors in this Anthropology Thread 🧵🧭
I was privileged to spend yesterday afternoon with the remarkable

Here's a new upload to my Youtube channel -- no ads -- of a talk I gave recently, addressing some of the controversies around my Netflix docuseries Ancient Apocalypse. I hope you find it of interest, and useful.
I've had the privilege of knowing

Why a well-reasoned alternative perspective is needed to counteract the archaeological mainstream. Archaeologists shouldn't be high priests or tyrants whose dictates go unchallenged by the rest of us. Short (9-minute) interview here:
So good to see my old friend Robert Bauval again. Rob is the genius originator of the Orion Correlation theory linking the Pyramids of Giza -- as above so below -- to the belt stars of Orion. In my view it's the most important breakthrough in Egyptology since the Rosetta Stone.
You read it first here. Advance view of a major update concerning Gobekli Tepe that I will be adding to a new edition of my 2015 book Magicians of the Gods. Enjoy!
The ancient Egyptians spoke of a remote epoch when the gods walked the earth. It was the 'First Time'. The Great Sphinx is said to mark the 'Splendid Place of the First Time'. Many secrets remain to be unveiled here...
Evidence strengthens for a massive cosmic impact during the Younger Dryas. This has profound implications for the possibility of a lost civilization of the Ice Age as I argue in Magicians of the Gods (2015) and America Before (2019).
There's a steep hill behind our house overlooking the city of Bath. Santha and I hike up there every morning, trying to get fit before a major upcoming research trip. It's a demanding climb, but the view from the top makes it all worthwhile!

In the source paper in Science Advances the authors contemplate the possibility that the calendar could even predate the structures they've studied.
In the midst of the controversy surrounding my Netflix docuseries Ancient Apocalypse I'm speaking for Alternatives at the Royal Geographical Society in London 14th Dec. It's a full house, but I'm doing a follow-up event, again at the RGS, on 26th January:
My books explore the possibility of a lost advanced civilization of the Ice Age. Myths say the gods destroyed it because it became greedy, arrogant conceited & cruel. The “advanced”, technological nations of the 21st century tick all the boxes for the next lost civilization.
The Pyramid of the Sun, Teotihuacan, Mexico, "The Place Where Men Became Gods". This isn't a drone shot. A few years back we were in a helicopter, overhead the apex of the pyramid, when Santha took this awesome photo.
ATLANTIS IN THE MEMORY OF ANCIENT EGYPT. This dynamite investigation by Manu Seyfzadeh is published for the first time on my website. Archaeologists aren't going to like it.
At 11,600 years old Gobekli Tepe in Turkey is by far the oldest megalithic site yet found ANYWHERE, yet it is not mentioned even in passing in this new study: . Why are archaeologists so unwilling to join the dots?
The Olmecs were the oldest and most mysterious of the high civilizations of ancient Mexico. There are curious similarities to ancient Egypt in the Olmec statuary shown here. Direct Olmec influence on ancient Egypt, or vice versa? A legacy shared by both cultures? Or coincidence?
The skeptics keep saying it can't be so. The evidence keeps refuting them. But there's more: 12,800 years ago humanity became a species with amnesia. We forgot our true past:
