As an LH fan I’ve seen it for a while, but the fact even Max is calling Russell two-faced and shady is shocking. The guy is undeniably quick, but this on top of that ridiculous post-race quote about the “Boy from Williams” tells you everything you need to know about the current.
Max in the press conference about George Russell: "I've been to the stewards many times. I've never seen a driver try so hard to screw another driver.". [@JoostNederpelt]

@kobayashicore Lewis - Senna.Max - Schumacher .Norris - Hill.Piastri - J.Villeneuve .Leclerc - Hakkinen .Sainz - Coulthard . Russell is go with Alonso due to having to drive shitboxes for numerous years but I see no 90s equivalent.

“Hamilton didn’t beat Alonso” .Am I missing something? . When I say Hamilton has never lost to a teammate OVERALL, that is an undeniable fact . 1-0 Alonso.2-0 Kovalainen.2-1 Button.3-1 Rosberg .5-0 Bottas .1-1 Russell . You don’t need to be a Hamilton fan to acknowledge that?

Back to this - being underweight by 1.5kg gives 2.5s over a race distance. For reference, both Lewis and Oscar were within that margin so therefore were disadvantaged. Russell drove a great race but benefitted from an illegal car. That margin could’ve put Lewis on his gearbox.
@heidfeldmafia Around Spa, 10kg is worth around 0.39s per lap. So 1.5kg amounts to 0.06s roughly and over 44 laps that totals to over 2.5s. Remember when Lewis was told to watch his lift and coast in the first stint? . 👀.

Hamilton wins in 2011 = 3 (car 6 tenths off the pace).Norris wins in 2024 = 2 (fastest car since Miami). If you’re comparing Norris to McLaren Hamilton (who actually had a title to his name) just deactivate at this point. Embarrassing opinion.
In Hamilton's McLaren seasons, where he had about the same experience as Norris now, he was terrible often with a lot of crashes. Norris is performing on a higher level then Hamilton was at that stage especially considering Norris's age.

We’re always told it’s ‘unreasonable’ to say he’s the fastest driver in the history of the sport. Why? He’s the leader in all time poles and wins. People who have worked with both Lewis and Schumacher are on record to say Hamilton was the faster driver, including James.
Pre-Japan 2015 Hamilton is the fastest driver of all time by a long way. It’s a shame Mercedes nerfed him with their suspension changes after Singapore.

Don’t get it twisted, Mercedes have listened to Hamilton and now after developing their concept are fighting at the front. He’s not an engineer, but the drivers are the first point of reference for how the car is behaving. Best believe he’ll help steer Ferrari in the right.
#BritishGP 🇬🇧 | Press Conference:. Q: Lewis, with the Mercedes performing like that, end of last year, do you think would you be in Ferrari next year?. Lewis Hamilton: “Yes.”

The tyres. We need a Qualifying tyre that allows drivers to push flat out at 100% through every corner and reward aggression and risk taking, like we had until 2022. In the Race, we need a tyre that falls apart after 10 laps like the 2011 Pirellis that would bring strategy.
What’s one thing you would change about F1 today? 👀. #F1.

This is what Allison alluded to. There’s actually a lifeline for Hamilton because his teammate next year (Leclerc) is exactly the same and has also struggled with the tyres this year. Ferrari having 2 drivers with the same style will either help drive the team forward and.
🚨| According to AMuS, Lewis Hamilton has a very aggressive driving style, braking very hard in corners and accelerating suddenly out of corners. This makes the tire come out of its working window more easily, especially since the 2024 tires are much more sensitive than it was

Who on earth is making the strategy calls at Mercedes? . Fitting Hards for Russell with 25 laps to go was a good call due to the trade off between warmup and duration. Putting Hamilton on the Hards for a 10 lap shootout was crazy. A used Medium/Soft would’ve been faster.
📻 | Lewis Hamilton: “The tyres I had was definitely faster. What are the cars ahead on?”. 📻 | Bono: “Old medium tyres. 9-12 laps old medium tyres. Remember that graining is a risk.”. 📻 | Lewis Hamilton: “I didn’t have graining on the last one did I?”. 📻 | Bono: “Yea but the.

Alonso was rated at his lowest at the end of 2007 - having just been alongside Hamilton. Button was rated at his lowest at the end of 2012 - having just finished his time alongside Hamilton. Both of whom’s stocks were at their highest after becoming WDC right before they faced.
There's a very very strong pattern of. -Hamilton's teammates being rated higher while they're his teammates. -Max's/Schumacher's teammates being rated lower while they're his teammates.

The most remarkable moment of Hamilton’s 2007 season had to be Qualifying in Silverstone. In front of his home crowd under enormous pressure, he was struggling for pace that weekend but pulled out a sensational pole lap. Yes he was lighter on fuel, however the most incredible
There is a reason why so many conspiracy theories exist about Lewis Hamilton's 2007 season. You can't explain to someone that a rookie beat a 2x WDC in his first attempt. Might be the greatest rookie season in sports, not just F1.

Something which tells me everything about Singapore 2018 is the margin Lewis put on Bottas - 0.771s (or 0.803%) at the time of the laps being set. Valtteri had never been beaten like that on merit in standard dry conditions and has not been since - telling me that the lap Lewis.

Not sure where this narrative has come from, but it’s almost certainly not true. Car balances are relative to the driver. Hamilton can tolerate mass amounts of instability. For Hamilton, a ‘stable’ car would still be one that many drivers find extremely sharp and unstable.
Schumacher: Lewis needs a stable car, while Charles can drive an unstable car. It remains to be seen who will prevail. .

No, we shouldn’t. He’s only in his second season. It takes at least 3-4 years to reach your best over a race distance. His own teammate, Norris, was getting beaten by Sainz in his second year in the sport yet now some of you put him in the elite crop of drivers. Same with.
Can we finally start a conversation about Oscar Piastri? He's 6th in the standings in the clear fastest car. Any other driver wouldve been seen as a fraud.

@FormulaUR_ The only people who are upset are the type of fans who see teammate pairings as ‘bromances’ which they never have been in my lifetime. Rule No. 1 : .Beat your teammate.

@412T2Stan Disagree, he’s far more versatile than Schumacher and Verstappen who’s speed massively depended on the front end. The second there was any front limitation, they’d lose a chunk of performance. Case in point Red Bull in the first half of 2022 and even Monza/Baku period in 2024.
